On November 29, a crowd gathered to celebrate the new historic marker honoring historic Poolesville Public School #3, District 3, also known as the Jerusalem Rosenwald School. Jerusalem descendants Tina Clarke and Mark Clarke talked about the history of the school. Link Hoewing, Knight Kiplinger and others guided the proposed marker through a 3-year process of design and location approvals with the town and county.

The new marker can be found at the Department of Transportation Maintenance Yard, 19200 Jerusalem Road, Poolesville, MD.
